Motek/Bondexpo 2021: The live event is unrivaled!
The industry is preparing to participate in Motek/Bondexpo from 05. to 08 October 2021 in Stuttgart. While in these days and weeks the two digital trade fair platforms Motek-Virtuell and Bondexpo-Virtuell are proving to be effective and useful online marketplaces because they maintain business contact between manufacturers and users, everyone involved is urgently awaiting the next edition of the presence trade fair.
Especially in days like these, it becomes apparent how important it is to effectively implement “automation intelligence for production and assembly” on an industrial scale. This is why Motek – the international trade fair for production and assembly automation – and the complementary Bondexpo – the international trade fair for adhesive bonding technology – are among the most important trade events for many companies in the fields of production and assembly automation as well as joining and adhesive bonding technology, both in terms of exhibitors and trade visitors. “Online trade fairs and virtual events are good and currently very important,” states Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “Because this is where exhibitors can present their trade fair highlights and new developments and make contact with users. But the personal professional exchange is and remains indispensable,” affirms the trade fair organizer.
Digital technologies do not replace the experience
Exhibitors and trade visitors see it that way, too. “Re-booking rates are exceeding expectations, as everyone is looking to return to face-to-face trade shows,” reports project manager Mike Döring. Looking ahead to the new year, the focus is once again on participation in attendance trade fairs: “Of course, we will be exhibiting at Motek again in 2021,” explains Marcel Pfeiffer, Head of Marketing / Head of Design at Zimmer Group. “We have been an exhibitor with a booth every year without interruption since the trade show was born. We are especially looking forward to presenting our products live again, because when people need to be emotionalized, a live event is unrivaled.” For the technical discussion, it is important to be able to touch products or experience their function and application. “The multisensory experience cannot be replaced by digital technologies,” Marcel Pfeiffer points out.
Anticipation: “Communicate eye-to-eye with many old and new trade visitors”.
Alexander Luna Garcia, Sales GI Robots & Products, Yaskawa Europe, also emphasizes the importance of Motek: “For us, Motek is one of the most important trade fairs in the German-speaking region in the field of robots for handling applications. Every year we have many concrete inquiries about real projects and a great response.” Meanwhile, Alexander Luna Garcia praises the useful Motek-Virtuell platform for its simplicity and functionality, which allows visitors to quickly find their way around. But his sights are also set on the real Motek/Bondexpo 2021 – because, “Seeing each other once is better than hearing from each other a hundred times.”
The industry is looking forward to the next Motek/Bondexpo as the leading trade fair for the world of automation. Together with the exhibitors, the trade fair company P. E. Schall is paving the way for the modern industrial future. The product and service portfolio with components, assemblies, subsystems and complete systems for automated production and assembly, including joining technology as an integral part of industrial manufacturing, will be presented from 05. to 08 October 2021 in Stuttgart up to date presented.
